  • Watched Jacques Prevert - Cet amour then discussed opinions with partner and noted ideas for own presentations for later.
  • mind-mapping: lesson - examples (just use google images), MindTools - introduction to mind mappingMind mapping examplesTony Buzan mind mapping as a tool to help with creativity and in organizing your writing, notes and research.
  • Mon histoire de l'enfance: write a story from your childhood, 20 sentences, use le passe compose, l'imparfait & le plus-que-parfait to tell your story.
    • checked la page des idees, le remue-meninge and talked about next step in writing process - le plan - organizing the ideas into an outline.  Work time.  Due tomorrow.

le but d'apprentissage (learning goal): Nous apprenons comment parler des evenements au passe.
  • Watched Crashed Ice Lausanne 2013 and reviewed words and expressions with partner.
  • Mon relache de mars:  peer editing of writing 6 sentences (minimum) - 4 affirmative and 2 negative (ne...pas, rien, jamais, plus) - about what did and didn't do during March Break.  Use "je" but try also to use "nous, il/elle, ils/elles" if possible.  Use blue reference sheet given early in Feb for verb ideas.  Use adjectives and sentence completers to reach for level 4 work.  La bonne copie due tomorrow (double-spaced).  Include title, full name, date and hand in draft with corrections also.
  • mini-lesson: le négatif - small note and discussion
  • le passé composé + avoir + les verbes réguliers - finished correcting note and practice sheet from yesterday, worked on pre-quiz.
  • DELF A1 listening activity (handout)
  • les devoirs:  les verbes reflechis - review - quiz probably Friday

  • Watched Crashed Ice Lausanne 2013 & recounted what saw with partner.
  • Notre Dame de Paris - chapter 6 - Checked and took up questions for chapter 6.  Discussion - racism, prejudice, bullying.  In groups, re-read ch. 6 and listed unfamiliar words.
  • les devoirs: do a journal entry or re-read parts of Notre Dame de Paris.
