le but d'apprentissage (learning goal): Nous apprenons comment parler et écrire des événements au passé.

  • Watched Jacques Prevert - l'oiseau then discussed opinions with partners and noted ideas for own presentations.
  • le passé - lesson - review & expansion - le passé composé, l'imparfait, le plus-que-parfait - discussion, examples, SmartBoard mind map
  • Mon histoire de l'enfance: write a story from your childhood, 20 sentences, use le passe compose, l'imparfait & le plus-que-parfait to tell your story.  Checked  next step in writing process - le plan - organizing the ideas into an outline then worked on le brouillon (draft). Work time. Due Friday for peer editing.  Will have time in class on Monday for peer editing also.  Bonne copie dù le mercredi 27 mars.
  • les devoirs: Mon histoire de l'enfance - le brouillon - for Friday.

  • Watched Fable - le Heron & discussed briefly with partners.
  • Handed in good copy of Mon relache de mars (include title, full name, date, double-spaced, and draft with corrections).  Stapled draft with corrections on back.
  • oral interaction: inner/outer circles: "Qu'est-ce que tu as fait hier?  Qu'est-ce que tu n'as pas fait?"
  • listening (oral comprehension) A1 activities, then discussed in groups ideas for how you can improve knowledge of numbers.
  • time to check pre-quiz - finished and correct.  Quiz tomorrow.
  • les devoirs: Review le passé composé + avoir + les verbes réguliers - quiz tomorrow.
    • Review les verbes réfléchis (notes and handouts)  - quiz Friday.

  • Watched Fable - le heron and discussed briefly with partner.
  • Notre Dame de Paris - chapter 7.  Read together then worked on questions (book and handout) and vocabulary list.
  • les devoirs: re-read ch 7, finish questions & vocabulary.
