Reminder: Re-tests are available for many of the tests and quizzes that we do, but, don't depend on them.  Always be as prepared as possible for each class (as if there might be a "pop quiz" on any day on anything already covered) and especially be ready for a scheduled test or quiz.  Use effective study methods, not just reading over your notes.  Re-tests are more work than being ready for the original test i.e. you must show that you have corrected the original test, you must show further evidence that you have studied, and you must make arrangements to do the re-test at lunch or after school.

FSF 2D
  • Did quiz: l'imparfait vs. le passé composé - l'action habituelle vs. un temps précis.
  • Checked cahier pg. 17.
  • Worked on le projet: l'incident au passé étape 4 (dû le vendredi 8 octobre).
  • Read livre pgs. 21 - 24 (top) on photocopies using 3 colours of highlighters.
  • Devoirs: Livre 21-24 and project step 4.
FSF 1D
  • Rechauffement:  adjective puzzle
  • Took up and checked adjective practice handout from yesterday.
  • écoute: cahier pg.15.
  • Introduction lesson for: les verbes pronominaux using livre pg. 18 - 19, blackboard, discussion, examples and then made own introductory note: i.e. what you learned so far, what questions you still have.
  • Devoirs: Prepare/study for test tomorrow: les adjectifs.  Use study sheet provided yesterday.
FSF 1P
  • Talked about goal-setting, learning and improvements.
  • Took up devoirs: fiche #11 and #12 and did some oral practice with them.
  • Did cahier pg. 11.
  • Devoirs: cahier pg. 17, partie A #1: Write 6 activities (in French!) that you like to do with friends.  Use your lexique at the back of the cahier and the vocabulary sheets from your binder to help.
