FIF 3U
  • le but d'apprentissage: Comment montrer ce qu'on a appris.
  • Exam: Written - Wed. June 20, listening - in class in last week of school - date to be determined
  • Upcoming work/assessments:
    • le subjonctif - test sommative - le mercredi 6 juin OU le jeudi 7 juin - Choice of the student for what works better for them. Must prepare and may use summary note (preferably done as a mind-map) as a reference sheet for the test. Complete and check handout pre-tests to help prepare.
    • La Route de Chlifa/Incendies - written report/reaction. Bonne copie + all parts  - due last Fri June 1.  Must still be handed in with late note explanation and parent's signature. 
    • la présentation orale - culminating. Discussed success criteria on Mon June 4 in class. Will be presented week of June 11-15. Topic - your choice. Format - your choice (i.e. discours formel, PowerPoint, Prezzi, video, etc.). Length - 2 min. May do with a partner - 3 1/2 - 4 min. Objective - show what learned this year. Also will submit written outline.
  • les devoirs:  le subjonctif, la présentation orale

  • Exam - written Thurs June 21, 9 am, listening - in class June 12, spoken - in class June 13 - 15. More details soon.

  • Speaking activity - comparing drawings of people
  • les pronoms: reviewed subject and object and reflexive pronouns, discussion and note on board, took up handouts from yesterday and discussed them, speaking/reading, then, added new pronoun "en" to replace "de + les choses/les personnes", practice handout tonight pgs.156 - 157.
  • les devoirs: les pronoms - review and finish handout pgs. 156- 7
FSF 2D
  • le but d'apprentissage: Comment parler des possibilités.
  • Exam - written Fri. June 22, 9 am, listening - in class June 7, spoken - in class June 13 - 15. More details soon.
  • Assembly - Student Council representatives and voting
  • le conditionnel - reviewed, then corrected and discussed handouts from yesterday and assigned new ones for tomorrow (pgs. 101- 102)
  • les devoirs: review le conditionnel - notes and complete next handouts
