Students are once again allowed to bring snacks to the classroom (not computer lab), as long as there is no garbage left behind.

  • l’examen oral: Assessments 
    • Finished most interviews today.  
  • Handout package - Quête-Plus - review and exam preparation and classroom expressions.  Use notes and the text and the reference pages at the back of the package to answer the questions. Check answers using the answer keys posted at the back of the classroom and in separate blog post labelled: FSF 1P - exam review answers Jan 2013
  • Handout: Mon dictionnaire personnel: Students received this booklet last Friday. Use draft copy and the posters around the room to make a good copy that will be able to use on the written exam.
  • Les devoirs (homework):
    • Spend up to about 20 min practicing for oral exam which will be on Thurs Jan 17 and Fri Jan 18.
    • Written exam Wed. Jan 23, 9 am - 10:30 am, room 308. Use review package to study. Make the rough copy of your reference sheet.

  • l'examen oral - assessments: handout with all instructions and information necessary to prepare for oral exam. 
  • handout packages - review and exam preparation - les hypotheses (le conditionnel), le passé, les pronoms- given this week. Answer keys are posted in the classroom and in a separate blog post labelled: FIF 2D - exam review Jan 2013
  • handout: the 2 written composition topics on the exam- given already. Choose one of each, discuss with a partner or small group who has chosen the same topic, begin brainstorming and planning a draft outline. You will be able to bring an outline into the exam (point form, no sentences).

  • la lettre d'accompagnement: due Wed Jan 16. Follow directions in handout package carefully.
  • Work time today in computer lab:
    • culminating project "L'engagement dans une profession". Due today - if email received by midnight, it is considered to be on time. Research section was due last Friday.  The "poster" or visual presentation (i.e. PowerPoint or Prezzi or...choice) is due today.  Students are encouraged to submit the poster/presentation by email: First Class - just type "bev kuk" and my address will be entered automatically. Name any attached files carefully with your name, the assignment and GLC 2O3I. If from outside email, beverly.kukhta-jackson@hwdsb.on.ca. Follow directions on the handout and rubric carefully.
