le but d'apprentissage (learning goal): Nous apprenons comment parler et écrire des événements au passé.
  • Checked and corrected handouts le passé composé from Monday.  See photos below for answers from the blackboard.


  • Reviewed l'imparfait. Study for the re-test for le passé: Tues. Apr. 16.  Study at least 10 min/day to prepare for the test. Make a "cheat sheet" - a good note - to help review and consolidate your knowledge. Non, désolé - vous ne pouvez pas l'employer pour faire le test.
  • Time to work on oral presentations: L'histoire de l'enfance - worked in groups or individually. Goals: Tell a story about events in the past, have fun producing and listening to stories. Format - live, video, poem, song... be creative. Minimum 5 lines per person in group (will probably need more). Divide work to use strengths of each person in group for best results. Target presentation date: le vendredi 12 avril &/or le lundi 15 avril.
  • les devoirs : Oral presentations, l'imparfait - review (study and handout, internet, review note...).  Get a good sleep to prepare for OSSLT test tomorrow.

  • Watched Jeu then talked in groups - summarized, opinion + reasons
  • Reading - Les Monstres à travers les siècles - finished with 3 colours of highlighters - one for words that ressemble English, one for words that you already know in French, and the third for words that you will need to look up in dictionary.  Checked dictionary words, then read in groups and answered questions.  Talked briefly about how monsters reflect the fears of society.
  • les devoirs: Finish reading article and answer questions.  Get a good sleep to prepare for practice OSSLT test tomorrow.

  • Watched Jeu then talked in groups - summarized, opinion + reasons
  • Notre Dame de Paris -  paragraphe - la discussion des questions - la bonne copie - must be double-spaced - dû aujourd'hui. Must hand in the plan and the draft also.
    • Un rapport pour le journal: Generated ideas/headlines in groups.  We will each be choosing one event from the book and writing a newspaper story about it.
  • les devoirs:  Finish le paragraphe/ la discussion for Notre Dame de Paris.  Think about what topic you might choose for newspaper article.  Get a good sleep to prepare for practice OSSLT test tomorrow.
