FIF 2D
le but d'apprentissage (learning goal): Nous apprenons comment écrire et parler des événements au passé.
  • le passé: le passé composé vs. l'imparfait - handout package - done, checked and corrected - work on own or with partner using answer keys in classroom or from photos posted on this blog entry (below).
  • l'article du journal: Gave handout - la liste de contrôle (checklist) - which students will use as a guideline for writing their article and will use with a partner for editing the rough copy.  Topic: an incident from Cyrano de Bergerac, or, an incident from your own past. 
    • complete the mind-map (brainstorming/le remue-méninge, the plan/outline) for Dec. 3.  See photo below for example.
    • complete the draft for Dec. 8 - make sure to do a "save as" and print 
    • full assignment due Dec. 11.  (all parts - good copy with photo/image, draft(s) showing proof of editing, la liste de contrôle, le plan.  May be typed or handwritten.
    • We are booked into the computer lab Dec. 3 and 10.

      • Speaking: les gestes de bonté spontanés - in groups/partners - talked about random acts of kindness done already and what will do in future. 
      • Introduced Au revoir les enfants. Watched Au revoir les enfants Bande annonce & Au revoir les enfants Bande annonce #2.  PowerPoint presentation with discussion.  We will be reading the book and watching the movie.
      • le futur: Work time in class today.  Continued work on 4 practice sheets which should be completed (done, checked, corrected using answer keys posted in classroom and in photos here), written application assessment on Tues Dec 2, study 
        • test tomorrow - le vendredi 28 novembre

        • review/study le futur simple - test tomorrow
