  • le passé: le passé composé vs. l'imparfait - handout from yesterday - checked and corrected work on own or with partner using answer keys in classroom or from photos posted on yesterday's blog entry.

        • le futur: lesson, reviewed le futur proche (speaking about les gestes de bonté spontanés, le futur simple - SmartBoard, regular, irregular, examples, discussion, handout note (add other irregular verbs from lesson on SmartBoard) and 4 practice sheets which should be completed (done, checked, corrected using answer keys posted in classroom and in photos here) by Thurs Nov 27, suggestion - make a "flap note" to help remember the irregular verbs

            le but d'apprentissage (learning goal): Nous apprenons comment parler des événements au passé.
            • video: la meilleure classe de français en Ontario - filming.
            • Project: Mon histoire de l'enfance - will be doing speaking with another class next Thurs Nov 27, writing and presenting to own class about a memory from childhood.  Develop a mind-map of ideas and vocabulary to use and about an artifact or photo that you can use to illustrate your story.  See generic example in photo to help to create your own mind-map.  You will make a rough copy on paper (which is due tomorrow), then will make a good copy on a card which you will be able to use in your conversation and later as an assessment.  You will also be able to use this mind-map when we create your written story later.
            • le passé: le passé composé vs. l'imparfait - Test le vendredi 28 novembre.  Go back over notes and practice sheets.  Create a "cheat sheet" as a study aid.  You will be able to use that as a reference sheet for the test.  Today, received practice handouts to help you prepare for the test.  Complete, check and correct from answer keys posted in classroom and in photos below.
