le but d'apprentissage (learning goal): Nous apprenons comment parler de notre famille.
  • Ma famille (ou mes amis). Spoken assessment with partner to describe family with the teacher on Tues. Oct 11 - second chance.

    • helpful resources: vocabulary sheets in The Hub module "le vocabulaire et les expressions" and anchor chart created  together.
  • second blog post on HWDSB Commons. Refer to documents in the module "Mon blogue" in The Hub for details and support and in new module "le vocabulaire et les expressions". Publish this post by the end of the day Friday. 
    • Make avatar and create circle of 3-4 friends in the class to follow. Read the posts of your friends and comment briefly. 
  • if done, practice Quizlet numbers-1-50-in-french-flash-cards or Duolingo or FreeRice.com in French or French Class Lite
  • le film de vendredi: On Fridays, we usually watch a film in French with French subtitles where available as a part of the Listening Strand of the curriculum and also for Francophone culture. This is not free time. Students are expected to watch and listen attentively (no iPads, no cellphones, no other work, no sleeping, no earphones, no talking). We are watching Shrek.
  • Pas de devoirs pour la fin de semaine as long as all caught up. Students may wish to do some review or practice, perhaps using Home Study extras
    • Mon blogue: deuxième entrée -  Publish by Oct. 7. Refer to The Hub for details.

    • Make sure your iPad is charged and ready to go every day.

    • French for the Future National Essay Contest (Scroll down the site for the information in English.)
    • Speaking assessment - with partner or small group - Describe your family or family and friends - can re-do on Tues Oct 11. See yesterday's post for details. 
    • Today's priority: Second blog post on HWDSB Commons. Refer to documents in the module "Mon blogue" and in new module "le vocabulaire et les expressions" in The Hub for details and support.  Publish this post by the end of the day Friday.

    •  if done: DELF compréhension orale - video et questions. Choose one at A1 or A2 level. Create an account using tab at far right called "Inscription" using your school email address. You can then send results of quizzes to me using my "Code de Professeur" which is "Ms.K-J" (no spaces). Make sure you have done 3 videos this week.
