  • Au travail: HUB module
    • Au travail! - le livre - Practice reading out loud in groups - 15 - 20 minutes. Presentations are in class tomorrow. 
      • les questions - at end of book, do comprehension questions for just own group's scene. 
  • Kahoot Challenge - le travail or at PIN: 0896979 Closes today - Tues May 21 - at noon. Do it at least once.
  • Mon blogue: 6e article - la fin de semaine typique. Finish draft. See side blackboard for details. Intro, 5 - 7 simple sentences, concluding sentence. See the HUB module "Mon Blogue" lesson "la fin de semaine typique" for details. 
  • le film: For the last 30 minutes, DVD in French with French subtitles where available - part of the Listening Strand of the curriculum and also for Francophone culture. This is not free time. Students are expected to watch and listen attentively (no iPads, no cellphones, no other work, no sleeping, no earphones, no talking). We are watchingLes vacances de M.Bean.
  • les devoirs: Should be spending 15 - 20 minutes daily on French home study Monday through Thursday. If class class work is completed, follow suggestions in Home Study extras

le but d'apprentissage (learning goal): Nous écoutons, parlons et lisons de "Le Fantôme de l'Opéra".  
  • Le Fantôme de l'Opéra 
    • LyricsTraining: le Fantôme de l'Opéra Do on own. Choose level. Can do more than once if wish. 
    • Read chapters 4 & 5 together in large group and divide up the comprehension questions. See email for link to Google Doc.
    • If done, re-read chapters 1 - 3 on own or with partner. 
      • les devoirs: Should be spending 20 - 30 minutes daily on French home study Monday through Thursday. If class class work is completed, follow suggestions in Home Study extras
        • FSF 4U only - letters re: DELF -FSL consultant and editor of The Hamilton Spectator.
