Mid-semester reports were distributed in homerooms today.  Students need to fill in the 3rd sheet with achievement and goal-setting and they and parents must sign it and return the bottom portion to the school.

FSF 2D
  • Le but d'apprentissage: How to say "to, at, or in" with geographic places.
  • Lesson and note and practise: cahier pgs 30 - 31 and re-write the note in a different format.  Suggestions: table, flap note, mind-map, computerized, etc.
  • In groups, reviewed La machine à rajeunir chapter 5 by doing vrai/faux on pg. 48 orally and introduced ch. 6 by doing "Avant de Lire" questions orally.
  • Devoirs: Finish note and review prepositions and place names.
FSF 1D
  • Worked on writing and rehearsing conversation with partner.  Follow guidelines on handout and as discussed at the beginning of class today.  Students must have the conversation completed by the end of tomorrow's class.
  • Devoirs:  Submit final copy of paragraphs (the 2 monster profiles) tomorrow or at the latest, on Thursday.
FSF 1P
  • Le But d'apprentissage: How to say that you want to or are able to do something (les verbes vouloir et pouvoir).
  • Worked in class on rehearsing oral presentation "Une personne que j'admire".  Presentation for real tomorrow and will be evaluated.
  • lesson and note: les verbes vouloir & pouvoir.  Demonstration on board, livre pg. 34, cahier pg. 37, and do 2 of activities A, B, C, or D on pgs 38 - 39 in class.  Tomorrow we will review and complete this, then make a reference sheet and have the quiz.
  • Devoirs: practise oral presentation "Une personne que j'admire" and make sure poster is done.
