  • Le thème du jour: le passé et le futur
  • journal/blog: suggested topic "l'Halloween". Use le passé to write about what you did.
  • Finished presentations.  Vous avez bien travaillé, présenté et écouté.  Merci.
  • Had a bit of "temps libre" where students chose conversation activities or worked on the written part of "Un incident au passé". 
  • Guest speaker: Mrs. Linfoot from ISE - International Student Exchange: Ontario. 
  •  Devoirs: Finish the written presentation of "Un incident au passé" to hand in by Fri. Nov. 5.  If already done, spend 20 - 30 min. on something French - reviewing notes, verbs, numbers, websites, etc.

  • Review and practice for le passé composé: avoir: les verbes réguliers et irréguliers.  Ms. Webb checked "flap notes" for completion.  There will be a test on Fri.Nov.5Use the handouts, your notes, your flap note etc. to prepare.  You must know how to form the passé composé and the meanings of any of the verbs on the flap note and also the regular verbs we have been using.
  • Did a graffiti activity with vocabulary about monsters.
  • Devoirs: Spend some time preparing for the passé composé test Fri.  Get a good sleep to be ready for "Take our kids to work" day tomorrow.

  • Le thème: Comment décrire les gens.
  • Took up handout fiche #25.
  • Did quiz: les adjectifs irréguliers (optional: Use reference sheet you prepared).
  • Watched a video about Paris and answered questions.
  • Handout puzzles and cahier pg.31.
  • Devoirs: Finish puzzles and cahier pg. 31 if not already done in class.  Get a good sleep to be ready for "Take our kids to work" day tomorrow.
