Space is still available for students taking French this year to participate in a 4 day French Experience trip to St.Donat, Québec with skiing or snowboarding.  See Ms.K-J for details and forms.

FSF 2D
  • le but d'apprentissage: Increasing useful vocabulary.
  • We worked in the lab today on the work assigned for the week.  See handout given in class and also posted in our conference in First Class (Parkside - Modern Languages - folder FSF 2D).
  • Devoirs: 20 - 30 minutes of French (see handout).
FSF 1D
  • le but d'apprentissage: Comment dire les actions au passé.
  • took up cahier pg.192-3, ex A&B.  Only 3 students had completed this for homework as assigned.  Homework is an important part of learning.
  • écoute cahier pgs. 57 and 54.
  • Watched "movie" about passé composé and être.
  • Devoirs:
    • Study passé composé + être - test le vendredi 26 novembre.
    • cahier pg. 194-5, ex. C,D,E
    • Moi-même project: due le 30 novembre.
FSF 1P
  • le but d'apprentissage: Comment utiliser le pronom "y".
  • cahier pg. 46 - with highlighters and answer key
  • cahier pg. 47 - looked for key words
  • quiz - le pronom "y".  On own, but can use books.
  • Devoirs: Ma Ville Idéale/ Ma Station de Vacances Idéale - draft a sketch with all parts included.  Due Fri.Nov.26
    • include - title
    • name of town /resort (i.e. Amandaville, Club Chase, etc....)
    • minimum 10 buildings/places (labelled in French)
    • streets (names in French - i.e. rue Dundas, avenue Parkside, chemin..., boulevard...)
