  • le but d'apprentissage:  Comment mieux lire.
  • Read the article (handout) « Tribus des tatous » and answered the questions.  Point form answers are fine but full sentences are preferable. This should be done on own for the best diagnostic assessment of the student’s level of reading and to more realistically help in preparation for the possibility of DELF testing next year. After the student completed the work as best possible on own, they were able to discuss their answers with a partner or a small group.
  • Handouts – les problems ex. G & H – read lesson and examples, then did activity. Should check answers using answer keys posted on back bulletin board.
  • Finished preparing story poster from yesterday. Helped each other with corrections.
  • les devoirs: Any work not completed in class. Review various forms of verbs in past tense. Organize binder.
  • le but d'apprentissage:  Comment parler du passé.
  • Quiz – le passé composé + avoir + les verbes réguliers. Allowed time to review, then did quiz.
  • Handout puzzle/worksheet package
  • Planning and a draft of 8 sentences using regular verbs in passé composé about what they did and didn’t do over the March break "La relâche/ le congé/ les vacances de mars".  Use handout notes and worksheets from binder to help find sentences that can be adapted.  Do not write anything in English then translate.  Draft is due tomorrow, and then they will be writing a good copy to hand in.  Write on every other line.
  • les devoirs: Finish draft of 8 sentences and worksheet/puzzle package.
  • le but d'apprentissage:   Comment mieux lire.
  • Finish reading chapter 2 of text: La machine à rajeunir.  Do the “As-tu compris?” questions at the end of the chapter and on the handout which was already given.
  • les devoirs:  Ch.2 re-reading and questions.
