Plans for tomorrow: We will be doing winter holiday activities - mostly oral and vocabulary building.  Students will be allowed to bring snacks to class tomorrow.

  • Watched video Avez-vous deja vu la chasse aux bonzhommes de neige?  Avez-vous deja vu Grodzilla a la neige?  Tete a Claques: a very beautiful Noel
  • le passé composé - reviewed what we know so far, discussion, examples, oral, SmartBoard, handouts - did most of pg 71 together and discussed pgs 69-70. Keep the handout package safely in your binder as we will be using it for several days, and you will need it to study for the exam.
  • les devoirs: Complete handout 69 & 70 if not done in class. Refer to the note on pg.65 (the front page) for a reminder of the irregular verbs.  Review le passé composé using handouts and notes or on internet - can link to sites from my blog or search "le passé composé" maybe add "games".
FIF 2D

le but d'apprentissage (learning goal): Nous apprenons comment faire les entretiens.
  • "l'entretien" (job interview).
    • Presentations today- live or video.
    • Use assignment package with assessment and lesson details. Follow details on "grille d'évaluation" and on board. Must do 2 interviews - one good, one bad. Can use same questions (at least 5) for both interviews. Must change roles - once as employer, once as candidate. If in a group of 3, each person must still be employer and candidate - do 3 separate interviews, or be creative.
  • OSSD - le diplôme de l'école secondaire - handout question package and booklets (to be used in class only). Due today. If working at home, all information is available at: HWDSB course calendar. You may also need to check in the "programs" section of the web site.
  • discussed the meaning of learning and being responsible for own progress.
  • Curriculum vitae (le C.V.)
    • Was due Fri Dec 14. Must be handed in by Fri Dec 21, or will be zero. Must now include a "late note" - see labelled post for details.
    • Students received 2 handout packages. Must follow the directions in the assessment package (the one with the rubric). The other one is to help prepare.
