Final examination information: 
  • Speaking exam - Fri. June 13 - in library, during regular class time
  • Listening exam - Thurs. June 12 - in classroom 308, regular class time
  • Reading/Writing (will include reading, some grammar, paragraph - choice of topics, can prepare point form outline in advance to use during exam.  Students will be receiving a mini-exam in the last week of classes to help with preparation for the exam.)

    • per.3 - Fri. June 20, 9:00 - 10:30 am, room 308

le but d'apprentissage (learning goal): Nous apprenons comment éviter la répétition et comment mieux lire.
  • Reviewed les pronoms - sujet, objet, direct, indirect, réfléchis, then introduced "y" - handout note and practice paper tomorrow.  Watched "Yu & Mi / Vous/Moi" scene from Heure Limite 3 to illustrate use of pronouns. 
  • les cercles de litérature
    • Presentation after finished book (next week).  Will include short summary (max. 2 minutes) of book, each person will say minimum 5 sentences, have some kind of visual aid.
    • Continued reading with group, returned summary notes  - complete notes will be submitted later. Include:
      • nom
      • le titre du livre
      • la date
      • les membres du groupe présent ce jour
      • la rôle
      • les pages/ les chapitres
      • les notes/ le sommaire
          • les devoirs:  20 minutes or so.  Work on literature circles presentation or review les pronoms.  Can organize book or review les verbes, les numéros, or find something French as listening practice or speaking or pronunciation practice.

          • Notre-Dame de Paris - comparison of 2 versions of story - Venn Diagram or chart form and stating/explaining preference (3 - 5 sentences to explain which version (l'adaptation du livre qu'on a lu en classe et le film de Disney) qu'on préfère et pourquoi.  See previous posts for more ideas if needed.  Bonne copie dû: le vendredi 30 mai.
