Final examination information: 
  • Speaking exam - Fri. June 13 - in library, during regular class time
  • Listening exam - Thurs. June 12 - in classroom 308, regular class time
  • Reading/Writing (will include reading, some grammar, paragraph - choice of topics, can prepare point form outline in advance to use during exam.  Students will be receiving a mini-exam in the last week of classes to help with preparation for the exam.)

  • in library today with iPads.  Must be working in French for the entire period.  Choices include: preparing presentation for les cercles de litérature, DuoLingo, DELF CO (compréhension orale - listening) A1/A2, les pronoms objets - lessons, review, practice, vocabulary or grammar games, etc.
  • les cercles de litérature
    • Presentation after finished book will begin this Friday.  Will include short summary (max. 2 minutes) of book and other content/connections, insights, etc -  each person will say minimum 5 sentences, have some kind of visual aid.  Make it interesting for your audience.
    • reading with group - discussion and summary notes  - complete notes will be submitted later. Include:
      • nom
      • le titre du livre
      • la date
      • les membres du groupe présent ce jour
      • la rôle
      • les pages/ les chapitres
      • les notes/ le sommaire
          • les devoirs:  20 minutes or so.  Watch the hockey game in French. Work on literature circles presentation or review les pronoms - finish handout "y" if didn't finish from yesterday.  Can organize book or review les verbes, les numéros, or find something French as listening practice or speaking or pronunciation practice.

          • Notre-Dame de Paris - comparison and preference of 2 versions of story - was due May 30. See previous posts for more ideas if needed. Must be handed in by Friday if not already in.  
          • les pronoms - "y" - handout note and practice paper.  Answer key posted at back of classroom and in photo below. Checked and corrected and did speaking activity.
          • Au revoir les enfants: chapters/scenes 11- 20 - checked and corrected questions. Complete resumés if not already done.  Will be submitted at end of book.
