Site of the day: le calendrier de décembre  Today we watched Dec. 15 and 4.
FIF 2D
le but d'apprentissage (learning goal): Nous apprenons comment mieux écouter.
  • Watched a few episodes of le calendrier du décembre (as above).
  • Essay contest - scholarship money for prizes French for the Future - Concours de rédaction
  • écoute - assessment DELF B1 act. 11-12
  • compréhension écrite - DELF B1 pgs. 43-47, act. 4-5.  Worked in class.  Complete for homework.
  • les devoirs:
      • reading - handout act. 4 - 5.
      • l'article du journal - project with all 5 parts was due Dec.12.
      • journal/blog (with checklist) was due December 12.  See blog/journal FIF 2D or handout (with checklist) given in September for details.  See Ms.K-J for another copy of the assignment sheet if needed.

        • écoute - assessment - DELF A2 act. 12-13.
        • Au revoir les enfants 
          • reading, re-reading and questions in handout package which will be due before the winter holiday break.  This is work that will be completed in class, so students must use their class time effectively.  Students who have not finished to the end of scene 20 were given books to take home to get caught up.

            • Au revoir les enfants - to end of scene 20 (if not already done.)
            • journal/blog (with checklist) was due December 12. See blog FIF 1D or handout given in September for details.  See Ms.K-J for another copy of the assignment sheet if needed.

          • Finished presentations for literature circles - group - summary of book (10 -15 sentences or so), individual - reaction/personal connection to the book (5 - 10 sentences).  Evaluated, and the goal is to speak in an interactive fashion, not a memorized speech. 
          • écoute - assessment - DELF A2 act. 12-13.
          • compréhension écrite - DELF A2 act. 3-5 pgs. 28 - 31.  Read and answer questions.  We will continue act.6-7 tomorrow.
