Final Exams in January: 
  • writing/reading exams - 10 am - noon, in classroom 316
    • FIF 2D (period 1) Wed. Jan. 21
    • FIF 1D (period 2) Thurs. Jan. 22
    • FSF 2D (period 3) Fri. Jan. 23
  • listening exam: was in class Jan. 16.
  • all  classes did their speaking exam Jan. 8 during class time.  Students who were absent or did not finish in class time must complete this assessment.  See Ms.K-J for details.

    le but d'apprentissage (learning goal): Nous nous préparons pour les examens.
    • exam outline: Reviewed requirements for exam, then students had time to prepare for the exam. 
      • group discussions and planning for written topic chosen, brainstormed ideas, then create a plan, mind-map or outline - point form only, not sentences, that will be able to use for the exam.  
    • Special treat activity: Saturday's newspapers from Ottawa "Le Droit" and Montréal "La Presse" to read articles that students find interesting to help with increasing reading skills.
    • iPad minis available in class for students that have not yet submitted their oral exam or for exam preparation
    • les devoirs:  Study for exam.  Make sure the reference sheet is ready.  Ms,K-J will be available in the school during exam days - either in classroom 316 or the Languages Office rm.312A.
      • Make sure to have a good sleep, listen to French music, review notes, watch some French TV or read something in French before bed to help the brain think in French.  Eat a good breakfast.
