Site of the day: Ways to immerse yourself in French on-line
Final Exams in January: 
  • all my classes will do their speaking exam on Jan. 8 during class time.  We are doing specific preparation for that beginning Jan. 5, but it is a culmination of all the speaking we have been doing in class and outside of class throughout the semester.
  • listening exam: in class.  tentatively Jan. 15.
  • writing/reading exams - 10 am - noon, in classroom 316
    • FIF 2D (period 1) Wed. Jan. 21
    • FIF 1D (period 2) Thurs. Jan. 22
    • FSF 2D (period 3) Fri. Jan. 23

le but d'apprentissage (learning goal): Nous apprenons comment parler de ce qu'on a appris ce semestre.
  • Preparation for oral exam (in class Jan. 8) - use handout and summary of yesterday's discussion (see photo), success criteria to plan possibilities for the exam - make an extensive idea sheet.  Tomorrow, we will have time in class to continue, and will receive index cards to make the cue card for the exam.  
  • le futur simple - review lesson, handout note, speaking activity with handout followed by written, discussion activity about les resolutions pour 2015 followed by writing (handout).  This does not have to be completed for tomorrow, but does need to be complete before the end of the week.
