Final Exams in January: 
  • all my classes will do their speaking exam on Jan. 8 during class time.  We are doing specific preparation for that beginning Jan. 5, but it is a culmination of all the speaking we have been doing in class and outside of class throughout the semester.
  • listening exam: in class.  tentatively Jan. 15.
  • writing/reading exams - 10 am - noon, in classroom 316
    • FIF 2D (period 1) Wed. Jan. 21
    • FIF 1D (period 2) Thurs. Jan. 22
    • FSF 2D (period 3) Fri. Jan. 23

le but d'apprentissage (learning goal): Nous apprenons comment faire une réflexion.
  • Preparation for oral exam (in class Jan. 8) - use handout and summary of Monday's discussion (see photo), success criteria to make your plan for the exam - Use your extensive idea sheet to make your notes on the cue card given in class today.  You are encouraged to make a mind-map using colours, but any format that works for you is acceptable.  Tomorrow, we will be using the iPads in the library for the exam.  
  • le futur simple - checked written work if completed.  Answer keys available in class. Can continue discussion activity about les resolutions pour 2015 followed by writing (handout).  This does not have to be completed for tomorrow, but does need to be complete before the end of the week.
  • le futur antérieur - review lesson, examples, speaking, handout - complete for early next week.
  • les devoirs:
    • prepare for oral exam - finish preparing cue card.  Say it aloud once and time it.  Avoid repeating it to maintain a level of spontaneity.
