  • Les Directions:: Où utilisez-vous les directions dans la vie? - brainstorm where we see directions
    • Le vocabulaire - brainstorm vocabulary that will be useful in giving directions i different contexts. 
    • If there is extra time, students can start practicing the vocabulary
  • Ma famille: 
    • La famille - Quizlet test - HUB module "Vocabulaire et expressions" submodule "La famille" Follow directions in that Dropbox assignment. 
    • Continuing evaluation of groups - asking and answering questions about family – about two minutes per set of partners but 3 minutes if 3 in the group. You are allowed to have cue cards for the questions but not for the answers.  
  • Quiet individual work during evaluations: 
    • LyricsTraining - one song from La chanson du jour from yesterday. 
    • Duolingo, LyricsTraining, Digital Dialects or FreeRice 
  • Name card activity
      • les devoirs: Should be spending 15 - 20 minutes daily on French home study Monday through Thursday. If class class work is completed, follow suggestions in Home Study extras
          • Mon blogue - should have 4 posts done now with "Ma famille" published and also submitted to Dropbox. See poster at back of classroom for a summary.

        le but d'apprentissage (learning goal): Nous présentons le discours oratoire.  


        • Discours Oratoire - evaluations April 2-3. Write the title of your speech on the board for fellow classmates. Students in audience will take notes on the speeches and ask questions to the presenter. 
        • Interactive speaking development:  small groups.  HUB module “Speaking” document “B1 Didier Exercice en interaction p.76-79”. Nous préparons nos boites d’outils pour des situations de DELF. 
        • Verb practice: Tex's French Grammar - verb practice
          • les devoirs: Should be spending 20 - 30 minutes daily on French home study Monday through Thursday. If class class work is completed, follow suggestions in Home Study extras

            • LyricsTraining, Duolingo, Language Gym, Tex's French Grammar - present indicative, l'imparfait, continue working on DELF exam
          FSF 1D le but d'apprentissage (learning goal): Nous parlons des directions.
          • Les Directions:
            • Le vocabulaire - brainstorm vocabulary that will be useful in giving directions in different contexts. 
            • On lit - Read a set of directions using the vocabulary discussed in class. Use the cartoon map provided on the Hub to draw the route and state the final destination. Take a screenshot and submit to Dropbox.
            • If there is extra time, students can start practicing the vocabulary
          • Je suis a la television:
            • Groups will take turns to film"L'Entrevue - "Je suis à la télévision". HUB module "Speaking Activities"
            • Groups who are not filming, can continue writing their draft of article of 12-15 sentences - a blog post to be edited and published by Fri. April 5. The good copy will also be submitted to Dropbox (not open yet).   
          • If all done, Duolingo, LyricsTraining, Digital Dialects or FreeRice  or Verb practice: Tex's French Grammar - verb practice
          • If there is extra time, students can start practicing the vocabulary on Quizlet Quizlet: Les Directions - des phrases
