FIF 3U
  • le but d'apprentissage: Comment mieux écrire.
  • Peer editing of brouillon "le commencement de FIF 3U" using checklist/editing page.  Posted sample of final presentation of "bonne copie" and all parts of assignment to hand in tomorrow.  Follow details on assignment sheet.
  • Introduction to author Guy de Maupassant - read article.  Used highlighters as a literacy technique.
  • les devoirs:  Finish bonne copie of "le commencement du FIF 3U" and put together all parts, including cover page.  Follow details on assignment sheet.
FSF 1D
  • le but d'apprentissage:  Comment mieux écrire.
  • Watched video BBC French, Ma France, Languages video A then followed up with interaction/conversation to introduce each other, spell name and tell what languages you speak.
  • Started handout "remue-méninges" (brainstorming) - les idées for project "Qui suis-je - un sondage".  This will be used to help you make your own sondage later, so keep it in the project section of your binder.  You will be adding to this sheet later.
  • les verbes réguliers au présent: Did pre-quiz.  Checked handouts from Tuesday - make sure to check and correct answers from answer keys posted at back of classroom and also to read answers aloud. Quiz le vendredi 10 février.  Played game: les verbes réguliers au présent.
  • les devoirs: Study for quiz Friday: les verbes réguliers au présent
FSF 2D
  • le but d'apprentissage: Comment mieux écrire en français.
  • rechaffement: interaction/conversation to introduce each other, spell name and tell what languages you speak.
  • Brief review of how to use verbs correctly and tools to help i.e. verb charts given in class, Bescherelle, web sites, learning with practice.
  • Mes buts/ Le commencement de FSF 2D - le brouillon. Follow handout explaining the assignment in detail. Time to work in class le brouillon (draft) which is due le vendredi 10 février for peer editing. 
  • les devoirs: Written composition "Mes buts/ Le commencement de FSF 2D" brouillon due le vendredi 10 février. Bonne copie (all parts - see assignment sheet) due le mardi 14 février.
