  • Parlons: Qu'est-ce que je ferai pendant le Congé/ le relâche de mars? (photo)
  • reading activity in groups - DELF A2 - handout
  • DVD: French Immersion
  • Pas de devoirs pour le relâche de mars as long as all caught up. Students may wish to do some review or practice - see: Home Study extras osuggestions below.
    • Read aloud in French to help with speaking and pronunciation.
    • 2 students - Article for Thur. - read, summarize.
    • newspaper article - can work on draft, but we will be doing more work after the break
    • Fifth blog entry.  FSF2D Journal/blog

learning goal: We are reading the novel "Speak".
  • "Speak"
    • In class writing: Write 2 paragraphs about a childhood memory - preferably involving parents or guardians. Submit on paper or share through Google Drive bkukhtaj@hwdsb.on.ca
    • discussion questions and vocabulary - pages 83-104 (if not already done) - from handouts. Continue to organize your notes to keep for review at end of book for evaluation. 
  • Film: Hugo - take some notes for a critique later. 
  • No homework if all caught up for the work this week. Some suggestions if you wish to do some work:
    • Speak - read, finish questions/vocabulary to end of page 104.
    • Independent reading. Bring a book to read quietly in class for any time that you finish your class work early. Read regularly at home.
