  • le passé composé - review - lesson and practice package with answers - work your way through. Aim to finish for Fri. March 4.
  • un article du journal (newspaper article - using the past tense). Continue developing your idea for your own article. Use handout to create graphic organizer (point form). Read some articles in English or French newspapers to be more familiar with the conventions.
  • DVD: French Immersion
  • Pas de devoirs pour la fin de semaine as long as all caught up. Students may wish to do some review or practice - see: Home Study extras osuggestions below.
    • 2 students - Article for next Thur. - read, summarize.
    • newspaper article - develop ideas, read articles

learning goal: We are reading the novel "Speak".
  • "Speak"
    • discussion questions and vocabulary - pages 18-41 - from handouts. See photo for summary of tips on how to organize your notes to keep for review at end of book for evaluation. Continue in class and finish for Monday.
    • Read pages 41-61 for Monday.
  • No homework if all caught up for the work this week. Some suggestions if you wish to do some work:
    • Speak - read pages 41-61 & finish questions/vocabulary pgs.18-41.
    • Independent reading. Bring a book to read quietly in class for any time that you finish your class work early. Read regularly at home.

      • les verbes au présent - fill in some irregular verbs on chart given last week using reference pages at back of text Tu parles!1.No need to finish all as we will return to this another day. Aim to do at least 1/3 of them. Complete practice handout for Monday.
