  • 10 minutes: Practice vocabulary and expressions for a test next week and to help with their conversation.  Do the “test” section today as a pre-test.    Quizlet: Asking and answering questions about family
  • Ma famille: 
    • Continuing conversation preparation and practice. Evaluation Monday April 1. In groups, asking and answering questions about family – about two minutes per partners but 3 minutes if 3 in the group. You will be doing this for the teacher only, not as a class presentation. You are allowed to have cue cards for the questions but not for the answers. Use Quizlet - les questions to help and Quizlet: Asking and answering questions about family  
    • Paragraph – 10 sentences published on your blog and also submitted to Dropbox. See details in the HUB module "Mon blogue" submodule "la famille".
  • If all done, Duolingo, LyricsTraining, Digital Dialects or FreeRice 
      • Pas de devoirs pour la fin de semaine if all caught up. Students may wish to do some review or practice, perhaps using Home Study extras 
          • Mon blogue - should have 4 posts done now with "Ma famille" published and also submitted to Dropbox. See poster at back of classroom for a summary.

        FSF 3U/4U    
        le but d'apprentissage (learning goal): Nous parlons.  
        • Interactive speaking development:  small groups.  The purpose is to prepare for the interactive, role-playing part of the DELF exam in May. Download the document in the HUB module “Speaking” called “B1 Didier Exercice en interaction p.76-79”.
          • Work through the activities in the order that they are presented with your group to try to do the speaking activities. There is no need to complete all of it. If you work on it for 30 minutes or so, that will be good. You can do more if you wish. Use the reference notes in the document for the first activities and create lists for the ones at the end when you get that far. I will follow up for next steps next week.
        • Discours Oratoire - evaluations April 2-3. Practice out loud every day. 
        • Verb practice: Tex's French Grammar - verb practice
          • Pas de devoirs pour la fin de semaine if all caught up. Students may wish to do some review or practice, perhaps using Home Study extras 
            • Mon blogue - la relâche de mars
            • LyricsTraining, Duolingo, Language Gym, Tex's French Grammar - present indicative, l'imparfait, continue working on DELF exam
          FSF 1D

          • On parle: "Entrevue - "Je suis à la télévision". HUB module "Speaking Activities". Work time with partner to prepare interview with celebrity/athlete/author. Filming will be done early next week.
          • On écrit: Write a draft of an article of 12 – 15 sentences about your celebrity for a blog post to be edited and published next week. The good copy will also be submitted next week to Dropbox (not open yet).   
            • If all done, Duolingo, LyricsTraining, Digital Dialects or FreeRice 
            • Optional: Verb practice: Tex's French Grammar - verb practice
