FIF 1D
le but d'apprentissage (learning goal): Nous apprenons comment comparer les choses.
  • les adjectifs - le comparatif et le superlatif: group speaking//writing activity of examples - see photos below for models (some are upside-down..., and I don't know how to change the layout)
    • discussed test format - 3 questions - la formation, la position, le comparatif/le superlatif and discussed the note that students must make to summarize/personalize this language structure, handout package to practice (answer keys posted on back bulletin board and in blog entry "FIF 1D & FSF 3U les adjectifs - les réponses), practice pkg due le 4 oct (complete, checked, corrected), re-do note in own words, test: new date: le mardi 8 octobre.  
  • Notre-Dame de Paris 
    • chapter 3 - worked on questions - dû le 3 oct.  
  • les devoirs: 20 - 30 min
    • re-read Notre-Dame de Paris chapter 3 & work on questions
    • les adjectifs - review, note, practice - test le mardi 8 octobre, handout practice package due le 4 oct.
    • finish corrections to test: les verbes au présent if not already done.










FSF 3U

    • read ch. 9, pgs. 42-43 together & discussed 
    • do summary (in French!).  Include:
      • les personnages principaux
      • la scene (quand & où)
      • l'action (à peu près 5 phrases)
      • vocabulaire importante - entre 5 à 10 mots (see question C for ideas)
  • les devoirs:  20 - 30 minutes, so don't have to finish everything tonight
    • Le Bossu de Notre-Dame, ch.9 finish reading, resume.
    • and/or les adjectifs - review, re-do note, handout package
