le but d'apprentissage (learning goal): Nous pratiquons comment décrire les gens à haute voix.

• la carte de nom - avec 5 adjectifs qui te décrivent - handed out, finish if not done yet
• la carte de sortie - small handout from yesterday - finished for homework or in class if not done - hand in
• blog/journal - suggested topic this week - La St. Valentin, le Jour de la Famille, la longue fin de semaine
• les descriptions - les adjectifs - quick review, individual - chose an adjective to describe self and gave reason/proof - practiced with group then presented self to class.
• livre pg 8 - examples and discussion/explanation of how to form and use adjectives
• livre pg 7 - speaking
• livre pg 8 (bottom) - answered questions orally
• les devoirs 
• fiche (handout) - les adjectifs - matching

• Must complete oral assessment recording "Mon introduction" and email the link to Ms.K-J if not completed in class. 
• Organize your binder with 4 dividers. See course outline for labels for sections.  May wish to add another section "les chansons".  Use cell phone agenda or buy a paper agenda to help you stay organized for your classes.

• discussion and notes - Je sais, Je pense que je sais, mes questions - handed in
• le musical - introduction, chanson - Le temps des cathédrales - listening exercise and some discussion, questions to be answered by discussing in groups and taking brief notes - can be finished tomorrow
• les verbes au présent - réguliers, réfléchis, irréguliers 
• work time today - handouts - le paquet et le tableau - given last week - Due le vendredi 20 février.  Answer keys - les verbes au présent posted in the classroom and on this blog.  Students will check own work or the work of a classmate after finishing each page - just checking, not correcting.  Students will correct their own work and note which verbs they will need to practice more before the test.
• Students are encouraged to review some verbs every day and to access quizzes and games on the internet to help with learning these verbs.
