Site of the day:French Christmas vocabulary & 9 movies for every French Learner's Christmas list

ENG 2D 

learning goal: We are reading for meaning.

• To Kill a Mockingbird
• Quiz chapters 22 - 25
• Continue with package for literature circles/semi-independent work. Complete vocabulary and discussion questions for chapters 26 - 31 -  last quiz tomorrow. Here is the post with a summary of the class instructions and photos of the answer keys.
• Continued watching movie.
• Homework:
• Think about topic for culminating presentation. We will be working on it in the first week back in January.
• To Kill a Mockingbird chapters 26 - 31 - prepare for quiz tomorrow.
• Bring a book to read quietly in class for any time that you finish your class work early. Read regularly at home.

• Au revoir les enfants: Handout with summary notes. Reviewed and then continued watching film.
• les devoirs: Should be spending 15 - 20 minutes daily on French home study Monday through Thursday. If all class work is completed, follow suggestions in:  Home Study extras
• Notre-Dame de Paris - comparison was due Fri. Dec. 11. 
• Optional re-test le passé composé et l'imparfait until Fri. Jan. 8. See Re-test post for procedures.
• Blog was due Friday December 11. See this post: Journal/blog FIF 1D or your assignment paper for details. Complete and submit the checklist if not already done. If finished late, no marks are deducted, but must complete Late Assignment Explanation form.  Pick one up from the classroom or print it from the link.
