learning goal: We are looking at 2 different versions of a narrative.

• To Kill a Mockingbird
• Finished watching movie. Discussion.
• Christmas puzzle. Finish over the holidays for a small prize.
• No homework if all caught up for the work. Some suggestions if you wish to do some work:
• Decide topic for culminating presentation. We will be working on it in the first week back in January. Presentations begin January 11. Sign up for your date in the classroom. 
• Bring a book to read quietly in class for any time that you finish your class work early. Read regularly at home.

FIF 1D

le but d'apprentissage (learning goal): Joyeuses Fêtes

• les prédictions: Origami (le futur simple - la grammaire le dernier jour avant les vacances??? OUI!!!)
• DVD: Maman, j'ai râté l'avion Article: Home Alone
• Christmas puzzle. Finish over the holidays for a small prize.
• les devoirs: Should be spending 15 - 20 minutes daily on French home study Monday through Thursday. If all class work is completed, follow suggestions in:  Home Study extras
• Do something in French a few times over the holidays. There are a lot of links for holiday activities in the "Sites for the Holidays" at the top of this blog post. 
• Notre-Dame de Paris - comparison was due Fri. Dec. 11. 
• Optional re-test le passé composé et l'imparfait until Fri. Jan. 8. See Re-test post for procedures.
• Blog was due Friday December 11. See this post: Journal/blog FIF 1D or your assignment paper for details. Complete and submit the checklist if not already done. If finished late, no marks are deducted, but must complete Late Assignment Explanation form.  Pick one up from the classroom or print it from the link.
