    • Culminating Activity: Discussed assignment requirements, format, timelines and assessment. Assignment sheet link
    • Homework:
      • Work on culminating presentation. Presentations begin January 11.
      • Bring a book to read quietly in class for any time that you finish your class work early. Read regularly at home.

    • Rechauffement: Talked about les vacances in small and large groups (reviewed le passé)
    • la chanson: Les Trois Accords - Saskatchewan
    • les examens: Oral (speaking) exam is le mercredi 13 janvier and will be done in class using iPads. Today, we discussed the success criteria, format, assessment and how to prepare (see photos for notes). Tomorrow, students will receive the handout. There was a little bit of time to begin preparing. Work on brainstorming, preferably in the form of a mind-map, tonight for 20 minutes or so.
       

    • les devoirs: Should be spending 15 - 20 minutes daily on French home study Monday through Thursday. If all class work is completed, follow suggestions in:  Home Study extras
        • Begin preparing for oral exam (see above)
        • Optional re-test le passé composé et l'imparfait until Fri. Jan. 8. See Re-test post for procedures.
        • Notre-Dame de Paris - comparison was due Fri. Dec. 11. 
        • Blog was due Friday December 11. Complete ASAP if not already done.
