  • revision of written paragraph "Le lapin" to make it more interesting
  • les devoirs: Should be spending 15 - 20 minutes daily on French home study Monday through Thursday. If all class work is completed, follow suggestions in: Home Study extras

  • Shakespeare and Twelfth Night 
    • Returned graded journal for Act I.
    • Character map.
    • Read  Act II, scene 3 following established procedures and norms (see photo on post April 25) and discussed. Completed journal (handout) for Act II, scene 3. This will be submitted and assessed at the end of Act II.
    • Performance practice with another group for feedback using rubric for oral reading presentation Wed. May 4.
    • Read and listened to Act II, scene 4. Completed journal (handout) for Act II, scene 3. This will be submitted and assessed at the end of Act II (Thurs. May 5)
    • Twelfth Night by William Shakespeare - FULL Audio Book (Or, What You Will)
    • No fear Shakespeare - a post-reading resource to compare original and modern texts
  • Homework: Get in the habit of doing 20 - 30 minutes of English homework every night Monday to Thursday. Review lessons, extend your knowledge or read.
    • Twelfth Night performance assessment Wed. May 4. -  20 lines - see handout with details given last week. 
    • Finish journal for Twelfth Night Act II, scenes 3 and 4 and re-read. Journal for Act II will be due Thurs. May 5.
    • Independent reading. Bring a book to read quietly in class for any time that you finish your classwork early. Read regularly at home.
