    • test Wed. May 4 - le, la, les, lui, leur, y, en - students may use a reference sheet, test is in Google Forms - just to try something new.
  • Blogue - should have all 10 entries done -  tenth entry is a reflection. Refer to  FSF2D Journal/blog for guiding questions for the reflection entry. 
    • choose top 3 entries and begin editing using BonPatron, spellcheck, peer editing, etc.
    • Be sure to read and comment on blog posts from your network. 
  • Conversation for presentation Thurs May 5 - See handout already given for details.
  • revision of written paragraph "Le lapin" to make it more interesting - for tomorrow
  • les devoirs: Should be spending 15 - 20 minutes daily on French home study Monday through Thursday. If all class work is completed, follow suggestions in: Home Study extras

learning goal: We are reading Shakespeare and identifying useful strategies to read better.
  • Shakespeare and Twelfth Night 
    • Presentation of oral reading for assessment. 20 lines - see handout with details given last week. 
    • Started to read  Act II, scene 5 following established procedures and norms (see photo on post April 25) and discussed. Completed journal (handout) for Act II, scene 5. This will be submitted and assessed at the end of Act II. (Thurs. May 5)
    • Twelfth Night by William Shakespeare - FULL Audio Book (Or, What You Will)
    • No fear Shakespeare - a post-reading resource to compare original and modern texts
  • Homework: Get in the habit of doing 20 - 30 minutes of English homework every night Monday to Thursday. Review lessons, extend your knowledge or read.
    • Finish journal for Twelfth Night Act II, scene 5 and re-read. Journal for Act II will be due Thurs. May 5.
    • Independent reading. Bring a book to read quietly in class for any time that you finish your classwork early. Read regularly at home.
