  • éviter la répétition: 
    • les pronoms d'objet -  review lesson, examples, game, speaking, handout note, practice - oral and writing (finished sheet from Friday)

    • test Wed. May 4 - le, la, les, lui, leur, y, en - students will be able to create and use a reference sheet, test will be done in Google Forms in computer lab - just to try something new.
  • Conversation for presentation Thurs May 5 - time to work with partner. Distributed handout with details.
  • les devoirs: Should be spending 15 - 20 minutes daily on French home study Monday through Thursday. If all class work is completed, follow suggestions in: Home Study extras
    • review direct and indirect object pronouns. Make reference sheet for Test Wed May 4.
    • Conversation assessment Thurs May 5
    • FSF2D Journal/blog   Should have now completed all ten entries and be working on choosing top 3 for editing.

learning goal: We are reading Shakespeare and identifying useful strategies to read better.
  • Performance strategies for oral reading presentation Wed. May 4. Listened to "To be or not to be" excerpt from Hamlet read by Adrian Lester and graded it. 
  • Shakespeare and Twelfth Night 
  • Homework: Get in the habit of doing 20 - 30 minutes of English homework every night Monday to Thursday. Review lessons, extend your knowledge or read.
    • Twelfth Night performance assessment Wed. May 4. -  20 lines - see handout with details given last week. 
    • Explain your section in 21st century English to your dog, fish, little brother...
    • Finish journal for Twelfth Night Act II, scenes 1 and 2 and re-read.
    • Independent reading. Bring a book to read quietly in class for any time that you finish your classwork early. Read regularly at home.
