Le site du jour: Pourquoi c'est un jour spécial, le vendredi 13 ?

le but d'apprentissage (learning goal): Nous parlons de l'école.
  • L'école - learning vocabulary to talk about school. 
    • Quiz- in the HUB module "le vocabulaire et les expressions" submodule "l'école". Test - Follow directions in the HUB. Another way to get to the link: Quizlet: L'école
    • Handout - do and submit when done - may need to finish at home. Due Monday Oct. 16.
      • le film de vendredi: film in French with French subtitles where available - part of the Listening Strand of the curriculum and also for Francophone culture. This is not free time. Students are expected to watch and listen attentively (no iPads, no cellphones, no other work, no sleeping, no earphones, no talking). We are watching Les Vacances de M.Bean.
      • Pas de devoirs pour la fin de semaine as long as all caught up. Students may wish to do some review or practice, perhaps using Home Study extras
        • Je me présente/mon introduction - due Sept 25.
        • Listen to French music.
        • Ma personnalité et mes activités - due Oct. 3.
        • Crossword puzzle handout - l'ecole due Mon Oct 16.

      le but d'apprentissage (learning goal): Nous lisons les biographies.
      • On litEncyclopedie Canadienne - Historica Canada Choose a biography. Write your name and the person you chose in this Google Doc. Skim it, then summarize by writing the titles and subtitles and the topic sentence from each paragraph, then use 3 colours of highlighters for vocabulary.  Details and Dropbox in the HUB module "la lecture".  Due next week to Dropbox  "la biographie d'un Canadien". The assignment details in the HUB have been updated. 
      • les verbes au présent - réguliers et irréguliers: - partir, sortir, dormir & The Language Gym Try some games from the "Game Room" (upper right corner of screen site). Spend about 15 minutes. 
      • les jeux, les cartes - Poisson

          • Mon blogue - premier article - publication le 4 octobre. Read your friends' articles and comment.
