le but d'apprentissage (learning goal): Nous apprenons comment parler de la nourriture.
  • Fire drill - remember - You must stay with your class.
  • Presentation: Sexting - by Officer JonVan Oene, our Youth Police officer
  • posters: La nourriture. - were due le vendredi 9 nov. (20 - 30 different foods, labelled in French with "le, la, l' or les" and (m) or (f), 3 sentences with at least 3 foods in each:

    • Je n'ai pas encore essayé ________, _________ et ___________.
  • les devoirs: poster - la nourriture - was due le vendredi 9 nov.  Must be completed and handed in if not already in.

le but d'apprentissage (learning goal): Nous apprenons comment mieux comprendre une pièce.
  • story "un événement du passé" - was due Fri Nov 9, so is now late. See posters on back wall or posts Nov 5, Nov. 2 and also labelled post "the writing process/le processus d'écrire" or "les parties d'une compostition" for format for submission. May hand in today (Monday) without late note - today only.
  •  Cyrano de Bergerac: Acte II - V - worked in groups on steps 1 - 4 of assignment handout.  Filled in daily log at the end of the class.  Target date to finish preparing steps 1 - 4 is Fri. Nov. 16 and start Acte II presentation on Mon. Nov. 19.
  • les devoirs: "un événement du passé" la bonne copie was due Fri Nov 9.  Must complete and hand in asap if not already in.  Must also do "late note" - see post labelled "late assignments" for details.
    • Cyrano de Bergerac - 20 - 30 min to prepare for presentations and activities.

le but d'apprentissage (learning goal): Nous apprenons comment mieux se connaitre.
  • Worked in computer lab on "Career Cruising" - one career for today, then hand in to be checked.  Do other 2 later.  We will be in the lab again on Wed. Nov 14.
  • Did questionnaire VAK - Visual, Auditory, Kinaesthetic - questionnaire on learning styles from www.businessballs.com .  Complete, then print results only to put in binder. VAK learning styles questionnaire
  • les devoirs: "Cool"eurs activity from class last Friday. Work on the analysis for homework if not done yet.
