Assembly day: le Jour de Souvenirs
le but d'apprentissage (learning goal): Nous apprenons comment parler de la nourriture.
  • Handed in posters: La nourriture - dû le vendredi 9 nov. (20 - 30 different foods, labelled in French with "le, la, l' or les" and (m) or (f), 3 sentences with at least 3 foods in each:

  • Combien coùte...? Listening activity with prices - assessment.

  • Pas de devoirs pour la fin de semaine - unless not finished food poster.

  • Hand in story "un événement du passé" - due today. See posters on back wall for format for submission.  Remember we are using: le processus d'écrire - see post Nov 5, Nov. 2 and also labelled post "the writing process/le processus d'écrire".
  • Cyrano de Bergerac: Discussed big project for Actes II à V and worked in groups to prepare to read aloud.  We will aim to have reading presentation (la lecture en classe), le résumé,  les questions de discussion, et l'activité au choix ready for Fri Nov 16 and to begin presentations on Mon Nov 19.
    • watched some of film and some discussion.
  • Pas de devoirs pour la fin de semaine, unless haven't handed in: "un événement du passé"  - la bonne copie was due today.  Can hand in Monday - late, but without "late explanation note" - see labelled post.

  • Did "Cool"eurs activity in class. We can finish the analysis later in class if not done yet.
  • Discussion about importance of speaking French in class and of the advantages of being bilingual.
  • Monday, we will be in the computer lab room 210. Make sure that you know your username and password so that you can log in.
  • Pas de devoirs pour la fin de semaine.
