FSF 1D  
le but d'apprentissage (learning goal): Nous apprenons comment décrire un ou une camarade.
  • blog/journal - suggested topic this week -Quelqu'un que j'admire - la description et les raisons.
  • les descriptions: 
    • checked and corrected homework - fiches (handout) - les adjectifs
    • pre-quiz - les adjectifs - did and corrected in class.  Use this to prepare for quiz - Thurs. March 5.  
    • see this post for extra practice for les adjectifs
    • Continue working on interview and presentation -  use cahier pg. 17 handout to start interviews and take notes.  Students will be introducing their partner to the class on Thurs. March 5 or Fri March 6.  They will also be writing a paragraph to hand in on Fri. March 6.  They will hand in their brouillon (draft) and the good copy.  Both should be double-spaced and neatly handwritten or typed.

      • Study: les adjectifs - quiz tomorrow.
      • blog/journal entry for this week.  Should have completed at least 3 entries by the end of this week.   See FSF 1D journal/blog or handout given in February for details.

      • blog/journal - suggested topic this week -Quelqu'un que j'admire - la description et les raisons.
      • Notre-Dame de Paris - Chapitre 3 – handout.  Read out loud in groups, then answer questions ex. 1, 2 & 3 as best possible working together, always speaking French.  I will be checking work tomorrow and taking it up.  Tomorrow we will be doing the listening activity also, so should re-read the chapter at home, and finish any questions not done in class.
      • if time - work on handout package from yesterday - le passé composé + avoir + les verbes irréguliers.  Handout note (chart) and 3 practice pages - due Fri March 6.  Use answer keys posted in the classroom or answer keys to check and correct your work. There will be some work time in class tomorrow for this. 
      • DVD: Notre-Dame de Paris- the musical – for the last 20 – 30 minutes or so.
