le but d'apprentissage (learning goal): Comment donner les directives.
  • Une course de relai:  Looked at various comic strips in the magazine Débrouillard for ideas for format and items to include in own comic strip.  Working in library tomorrow.
  • Watched BBC French Ma France Preview video 1A and played pétanque.

    • Discussed briefly how to ask for and how to give directions.
  • Looked at a couple of maps of Montréal and briefly discussed the task of designing a tourist visit.
  • played number game: le prix est correct
  • les devoirs: work on relay race or numbers.

    • Auto-évaluation: les habilités de travail et d'apprentissage
    • Watched videos of  la météo à Hamilton & la météo à Paris
    • review - le passé composé, l'imparfait et le plus-que-parfait - presented posters of sentences using le passé composé & le plus-que-parfait (l'imparfait also if possible). Made into a book.
      • pre-test - took up and corrected. Use to prepare for test le jeudi 4 octobre (le passé composé, l'imparfait, le plus-que-parfait.).
      • handout package - continue work. Work on it in several sessions and make notes to help you remember it. Answers are posted on the back bulletin board.

    • Presentation by Jay Gosselin, Liaison Officer from the University of Ottawa French Immersion program about the advantages of being bilingual and about opportunities for post-secondary study in French.
