le but d'apprentissage (learning goal): Nous apprenons comment parler et écrire des événements au passé.
  • le passé composé + être: 
    • Watched Mrs.Vandertramp song
    • lesson: SmartBoard, note, discussion, examples, handout
    • quiz le jeudi 17 avril
  • les devoirs:
    • review le passé composé + être
    • review les verbes au présent: optional re-test next Tues April 22
    • Journal/blog:  Should have at least 7 entries done by now.  Follow handout.  Due May 16, 2014. Special blog entry FSF 1D journal/blog will be updated weekly.  Topic suggestions this week: le printemps (spring),  La Pâque (Passover), Les Pâques (Easter), critique of film The Bourne Identity

le but d'apprentissage (learning goal): Nous lisons et comprendre Notre-Dame de Paris.
  • Notre-Dame de Paris - ch. 8.  Read and listened to CD together, re-read in small groups, did questions # 1&2 (comprehension of text) and #3 - 5 (grammar points) - had time to work in class - if not done, complete for homework.
  • Looked at marked tests from Fri Apr 11 and did some practice of passé composé.
  • les devoirs: 
    • re-read Notre-Dame de Paris ch.8 and complete questions
