learning goal: We are learning how to understand Shakespeare.
- Shakespeare: Romeo and Juliet
- DVD: Romeo & Juliet - Zeffirelli - finished
- introduced written reflection and started brainstorming. We will continue next week. See photo for summary of discussion.
- No homework if all caught up for the work this week. Some suggestions if you wish to do some work:
- Reflection - brainstorm some ideas.
- Read one of the other Acts of R & J.
- Bring a book to read quietly in class for any time that you finish your class work early. Read regularly at home.

- Notre-Dame de Paris
- Newspaper article - follow handout in detail - checked completed "le gabarit" (brainstorming of ideas in a 2 different graphic organizers - placemat and triangle) and compared with a partner doing the same event. We will start the draft on Mon. Nov. 16 and are booked into the computer lab 319 on Tues. Nov. 17 and Thurs. Nov. 19. We will also be doing lessons on le passé composé and l'imparfait next week. No due date set for good copy of article yet.
