  • Journal/blog FSF2D assignment In computer lab 319 to start the blog. Use HWDSB Commons to request/create a site.  Create avatar and profile, establish "mon reseau d'amis" Network of friends to follow each others' blogs and make comments.
    • Use Describing people  to help create first entry - focus on personality and interests, not physical description. Follow guidelines on assignment sheet. See FSF2D Journal/blog for details.
  • If done, try Duolingo  or FreeRice.com (in French)
  • les devoirs: Should be spending 15 - 20 minutes daily on French home study Monday through Thursday. If all class work is completed, follow suggestions in: Home Study extras
      • Read over course information sheet FSF 2D with parents/guardians.
      • Organize binder with dividers.
    ENG 2D
    learning goal: We are learning about narration.
    • Assembly - Welcome to semester 2. Option sheets.
    • Wrote short account of a recent event - 1 - 2 pages double-spaced. Finish for tomorrow to share in small groups.
    • Homework: Get in the habit of doing 20 - 30 minutes of English homework every night Monday to Thursday. Review lessons, extend your knowledge or read.
      • Re-read handout on narration and poem "Chance Encounter"
      • Read over course information sheet ENG 2D with parents/guardians.
      • Organize binder with dividers.
      • Bring a book to read quietly in class for any time that you finish your class work early. Read regularly at home.
    FSF 1D
