- Introduced the one classroom rule: Soyez respectueux/Be respectful. What does that look like/sound like? Worked in groups and used ideas on handout from yesterday's homework to create and present posters.
- Started DVD French Immersion.
- Pas de devoirs pour la fin de semaine. Students may wish to do some review or practice. See suggestions below.
- Read over course information sheet FSF 2D with parents/guardians.
- Organize binder with dividers.

- Brainstorming and discussions in small groups to start a note on what to do and what not to do in presentations. Talked about mini introductory presentations for Monday. Prepare a short 1 minute presentation to introduce yourself or to tell something important about yourself. Include something about your goals for this semester. Bring in some kind of a visual artifact to help illustrate your talk - a photo, trophy, certificate, image, stuffed animal, etc. Also, each student chose 2 cards with something NOT to do during a presentation that they will demonstrate during their presentation. We will try to figure it out as you present, and will discuss basics of good presentations after. There was time in class to prepare the presentation.
- No homework for the weekend. Some suggestions if you wish to do some work:
- Review preparations made for short presentation and bring visual prop.
- Read over course information sheet ENG 2D with parents/guardians.
- Organize binder with dividers.
