Preliminary reports were sent home Friday October 10.  Parent/student/teacher interviews are on Thurs. Oct. 16 from 5 - 7 pm.  Sign-up is on-line https://westdale.parentinterview.com/.

  • l'imparfait - la formation - lesson, examples, discussion, note - on board (see photos) and students should make own note

    • presentation assignment - a bit of time to work  in groups- see handout for details.  Keep track of work done using work log sheets.  Presentations will begin next week.  There will be time every day this week to work.

    • Students are always encouraged to watch a favorite DVD in French (no subtitles), play some French games on internet, do Duolingo , watch French TV, read a blog entry & write a positive comment from your class blog network, read some French articles, magazines, books or newspapers (hard copy or on-line), practice numbers or review some French.

        • le passé:  Reviewed use of l'imparfait (description, l'action habituelle ou repetee) vs. le passé composé (l'action limitee ou une fois).
          • quiz Thurs Oct 16, similar to "quiz" handout done in Fri Oct 10 lesson, but longer.  Students will be allowed to have 2 reference pages (2 sheets of paper, one side of page each).  
          • There will be an extra help session on Thurs Oct 16 at the beginning of lunch in room 316 for any students interested in this.  Bring your lunch and review together.
