Preliminary reports were sent home Friday October 10.  Parent/student/teacher interviews are on Thurs. Oct. 16 from 5 - 7 pm.  Sign-up is on-line https://westdale.parentinterview.com/

    • presentation assignment - time to work  in groups- see handout for details.  Keep track of work done using work log sheets.  Presentations will begin next week.  There will be time every day this week to work. We will be in the computer lab on Tues, Oct 21, so students will have ready access to Bon Patron - editing and corrections

        • Read chapter 4 together and discussed in detail.  Also talked about some differences with the adaptation we are reading and the Disney film version.

            le but d'apprentissage (learning goal): Nous apprenons comment mieux parler des événements au passé.
            • le passé:  quick review of l'imparfait (description, l'action habituelle ou répétée) vs. le passé composé (l'action limitée ou une fois).
              • quiz Thurs Oct 16, similar to "quiz" handout done in Fri Oct 10 lesson, but longer.  Students will be allowed to have 2 reference pages (2 sheets of paper, one side of page each).  
              • There will be an extra help session on Thurs Oct 16 at the beginning of lunch in room 316 for any students interested in this.  Bring your lunch and review together.
            • Les cercles littéraires - Literature circles - handout to describe, chose books and groups.  Will do a full session tomorrow.
