Site of the day: 9 great French expressions
Opportunity for special ambassador program for students currently in grade 11 French: Forum national des jeunes ambassadeurs  Know anyone who might be interested? Pass on the information to them.

  • blog/journal - suggested topics this week -  une réfléxion du mi-semestre, un critique du film Coraline (brief summary and your opinion)
  • la chanson: Malajube - Montréal -40 C
  • Video clip - Tu parles unité 1C & cahier pg 48
  • les invitations - T-chart - les responsabilités (je dois) et les capabilités (je peux), then used livre pg.33 and cahier pg. 49 to give, accept and refuse invitations
  • les devoirs: Students should be doing 20 minutes or so of home study each evening Mon - Thurs.
    • Make a Kahoot.
    • blog/journal entry for this week - if not already done.  Should have completed at least 9 entries by the end of this week. See FSF 1D journal/blog or handout given in February for details.

  • blog/journal - suggested topic this week - une réfléxion du mi-semestre
  • la chanson: Malajube - Montréal -40 C
  • le passé: l'imparfait - reviewed formation, then talked about uses. Lesson on l'action (le passé composé) and description (l'imparfait) - examples, lesson, note. See photo for summary. Students should make own note. We will be adding uses as we learn more about le passé.
  • Notre-Dame de Paris - chapitre 9, le dernier chapitre - read together. Re-read tonight. Will do questions together in groups tomorrow.
  • time to make a Bingo card to have ready to play # 1 - 50.
